The system consists of a rail guide which also supplies power, a display monitor with integrated touch input, an embedded compute unit, sensors and software for positional tracking and the user interface. By sliding the rail mounted monitor to a point along the rail guide, embedded sensors track its position and augments the point of interest with corresponding media, making the region interactive and digitally manipulable. Motorised sliding options allow the display monitor to move automatically when the user initiates any of the touch screen buttons.
