An 18-meter long dot matrix display snakes through the restaurant, beginning in its basement, through its stairwell and ending in its main dining area, the uninterrupted running text captures the essence of Locavore NXT’s daily rhythm and alludes to the brand’s stream-of-consciousness.

The installation displays a continuous stream of text spanning from inventory management and utilization of solar power, to monitoring weather conditions and tracking overhead flights, to displaying guest names and sharing curated music playlists.

Fine-tuning

Staff members can customize the display frequency for individual data points by manipulating a set of sliders via a web interface.
